Skin Cleaning Prevent Blocking Your Pores
Cleaning the skin is important as it wash away the dead cells from the skin. It also will remove the dust and dirt that chokes the pores on the skin. If the dust has possibility to accumulate, it can block the pores and this very harmful for the secretion of the glands. The skin can’t fight against infections, toxic agents etc. If the pores are blocked the skin can’t give the shine or glow to the surface of the skin.
Skin experts tells us to avoid soap because of its high pH. A high pH (alkaline) soap will dry the skin that has diminishing effect on skin’s life expectancy. The skin’s surface is mildly acidic, having a pH of around 5. Most soaps are well over 7, and some as high as 10. That is very bad for our skin. Our skin can fight the harmful effect of soap for a long time. And very soon you’ll see result of using the soap on your face. Soaps with a high pH will not only dry the skin but also eliminate its acid mantle (coating on the surface).
You can make good skin cleansers from natural products. For example, products that contain vegetable oils, such as coconut oil, and water, combine with sebum and allow it to be dissolved and rinsed away. At the same time, water dissolves dirt.
Effective skin cleansers can contain a great number of vegetable oils, including coconut, sesame, or palm oils. These are safe and effective cleansers and have a relatively low pH. Stearic acid provides the skin a pearly firmness.
Another organic products that has great beneficial effect on skin is seaweed. The high mineral content of seaweed stimulates circulation, helps eliminate toxins imbedded in the skin, and leaves the skin feeling smooth. Seaweeds can also grow the immunity and healing functions of the skin by providing the needed minerals.
